The Villa
Location
In the front is the beach, on your right a beautiful lotus pond, on your left a little quiet temple (with offerings once a year) and behind you towers the majestic Gunung Agung (easily visible on a clear day). Wedged between the exclusive Amankila resort and the beautiful Alila Manggis hotel, Villa Sanika is located in the gorgeous Candidasa Bay, situated in the east but turned to the west (hence allowing for beautiful sunsets). Go for a swim or a beach walk in the morning, view the fishing boats returning with their catch, witness the villagers collectively pulling in their nets in the afternoon, glide on your sea kayak along the mesmerizing coast line…… Or rent a car/bike/scooter and explore the beautiful region of Karangasem, with its temples, markets, palaces and beaches. Or….just enjoy the comfort of your 5 star villa, floating in the pool, or suntanning on your private terrace. Whatever your itinerary, Villa Sanika is the perfect sanctuary!
Bedrooms
This villa comes with 3 large en-suite bedrooms and comfortably accommodates 6 persons (with extra bed and/or baby cot available on request). Downstairs is the large master bedroom, with sliding doors towards the pool and garden. Upstairs are a spacious twin and double room, both with access to the veranda and relaxation lounge with sea views. Mattresses and linens are of the highest quality and all rooms are cleaned daily. Wifi is available throughout the property.
Bathrooms
The villa has 3 1/2 bathrooms; the 2 bedrooms upstairs have a large shower unit, while the master bedroom downstairs has a glamorous bath tub plus private outside shower. There is a further washroom in the living area.
Living Room
The spacious living room has a large comfortable sofa and sliding doors to the front terrace, looking out to the sea. It boasts a large flat screen TV, with satellite, DVD player and Apple TV. There is also a bluetooth speaker for music lovers (no neighbors to take into account….). Finally, we also have a selection of DVDs, books and games. While we expect our guest to explore the beautiful surroundings of Candidasa, Villa Sanika has every comfort for those who wish to relax at home. All furniture is locally made, mostly according to specifications by the owners.
Kitchen & Dining Room
Villa Sanika has 2 kitchens; one for our guests and one for our staff (to prepare your meals). Hence the villa caters for every preference; from 5 star pampering to self-service, and everything in between. The guest kitchen is designer made and fully equipped, including a Nespresso machine. Meals are best enjoyed at the cosy dining table, overlooking the pool and garden on one side, and the beach on the other.
Swimming Pool
In Bali’s hot tropical climate a soothing swimming pool is a must. Villa Sanika has a large, 10×5 meter private swimming pool surrounded by garden and terraces with deck chairs. It is shallow on one end, going down to a depth of 190cm on the other. The pool can be used day and night, and has a tailor made float to relax on.
Sea Kayaks
A unique feature of Villa Sanika is its 2 sea kayaks, stored on the side of the villa and available for our guests to use. At most times the sea is calm and the kayaks can simply be launched from the beach (with our staff to help of course). The view of the coast line from the sea is simply breathtaking! For the more adventurous ones there are nice trips to be made to secluded beaches and snorkelling spots.
About Us
Featuring air-conditioned accommodation and a 10x5m pool, beach-front Villa Sanika is located just before Candidasa, at the beautiful east coast of Bali.
